Why WCI

Certification built on transparency

The open certification platform behind Framework v1.0.

A published framework, not a black box

Certification is built on Framework v1.0 — seven pillars of responsible practice with published scoring rules, a clear certification threshold, and a complaints process anyone can read. No hidden criteria. No opaque consultancy reports.

  • Seven-pillar assessment (governance, human rights, ethics, environment, and more)
  • WCI Responsibility Score (0–100%)
  • ≥ 65% to certify · 24-month validity

Complete your assessment — no account required

Organisations invited to certify open a secure link from WCI, answer structured questions, upload evidence, and view results — all without creating a password or signing into a portal.

  • Secure invite links for respondents
  • Structured questionnaires and evidence uploads
  • Scorecard with pillar-level results after review

Public certification anyone can verify

Certified organisations receive a Responsibility Seal and unique certificate ID. Anyone — buyers, donors, citizens, partners — can look it up online to confirm authenticity, score, and validity.

  • Public registry of certified organisations
  • Verify-by-ID lookup
  • Per-pillar scores published for certified orgs
